During last year’s (or, should we be honest, the previous 4 years’) presidential campaign, many promises were made. Some were so popular that 4 out of 5 Americans agreed with them, and their vote was a mandate. Some were sensible ideas intended to benefit American society as a whole.
Still, the country was bitterly divided over them, drawn by political lines. Some were not overly appealing but made sense for putting the country on the right path, no pun intended. Some were outlandish, and nobody thought they could be achieved. Some were doomed from the get-go.
So there have been some wins for the American people and the world, with seven conflicts ended so far due to President Trump’s leadership. That being said, he was elected to MAGA, not to make Ukraine or South Korea great. That is the job of their respective leaders. We have huge problems at home that need to be addressed.
We’re not dumping on President Trump. We’re just asking the question…
Were Promises Made and Promises Kept?
The war between Israel and Hamas has been brought to an end by President Trump.
Iran is no longer a nuclear threat, for the time being, after being bombed by Israel and the U.S.
Gas is down $1 a gallon since January 21, 2025.
Food prices are marginally lower and inching downwards.
Hundreds of thousands of illegal criminal aliens are being removed from the country.
The job market is competitive and growing.
But…
Obamacare has not been repealed.
The (unpatriotic) Patriot Act has not been repealed.
Nothing substantial on Congressional TERM limits (Trump is actually talking about an Unconstitutional Third Term for himself).
The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 has not been repealed.
We’re still sending billions of American wealth to Ukraine and Israel.
We are not impeaching activist judges.
No effort to abolish the Federal Reserve.
No repeal of the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, which provides legal indemnity for BIG Pharma.
No repealing of “The Prep Act of 2005”.
No Justice Department BREAKING-UP of monopolizing companies (including the banks)
No serious effort to repeal property taxes.
No serious effort to open up the Epstein Files, and no prosecution of Epstein’s fellow pedophile co-conspirators who are still running loose.
Half the country believes that Epstein himself is a spy, and his death was likely faked; he is now in another country, likely out on the Witness Protection Program (being abused).
No federal enactment of medical and vaccine freedom.
Thune is dragging his feet on Trump judicial appointments.
No audit of Fort Knox.
No one arrested for the RussiaGate Hoax.
No one arrested for the Scamdemic.
No one arrested for having cocaine in the White House.
No one arrested for the Autopen being used thousands of times.
No one was arrested for the real election coup in 2000.
Now, instead of TAXES, we have Tariffs AND Taxes.
H1B Visas are not eliminated while qualified Americans are jobless, living in their parents’ basement because American Housing is so artificially unaffordable.
And silly us. We thought that it was going to be “America First”.
