If any of you join into the online forums at Fox News/Brietbart, etc., you know that there are certain innocuous words that cannot be used. Now the odd thing is some people can use them in any context, and other people can’t use the same word in any context without being “moderated”, which means your comment is erased.
Granted, most of the words are not flower, cupcake, and rainbow, but those are rarely cannon fodder for public forums. The words are black, riot, steal, criminal, illegal alien, etc. Case in point, this writer cannot use the word ‘black’ in any context at Breitbart, even to describe the neutral (i.e., ‘color’). Reasonable political discourse might use white, black, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, etc. to just generally describe a person’s appearance, but Breitbart chooses to accuse some of being racist for using a term.
Here is the workaround. This is an actual recent quote by Larry Elder, the well known talk show host.
“Only in America can there be a blàçk president; Blàçk History Monty; Blàçk National Anthem sung at the Superbowl; affirmative action, set asides, separate blàçk college dorms and graduation ceremonies; critical ràçe theory taught in schools, yet blàçks still claim “systemic racism” –Larry Elder (A blàçk conservative political commentator)
Don’t let the Socialists running the forums determine what words you can or cannot use. This is censorship worthy of the USSR, North Korea, and China. NOT IN AMERICA!!!
