President Biden will go down as the worst president in U.S. history, by far far far. He makes Jimmy Carter almost seem Reagan-esque in comparison. Never has anyone done so little and spent so much to achieve nothing.
Let’s take a quick look at infrastructure items, say Electric Vehicle Charging Stations. In Biden’s massive almost $2 Trillion infrastructure bill of 2021, $7.5 Billion was earmarked for a network of thousands of EV charging stations nationwide.
$7.5 Billion. $7,500,000,000. That’s a lot of zeros. And immediately upon allocating the funds, all 50 states went full bore erecting a nationwide network of charging stations for all EV’s.
Fast forward to 2024, three years after spending $7.5 Billion for charging stations, there has been a grand total of seven charging stations built in five states.
Not a network of thousands, but a network of 7 charging stations.
That comes to $1,071,428,571 and a few pennies per station. Over $1 Billion per station. Is that really what Americans want their tax dollar spent on? Granted, the President sent much more than $7.5 billion to Iran, Ukraine, and China from the same American infrastructure bill, so to the administration this is a mere pittance.
If you’re a member of the Biden administration it’s money well spent. They’ll tell you that they’ve built 7 charging stations, which is 2 more than Trump would have built, and then smile stupidly.
