Kamala Harris, arrogantly walks to the podium and proudly identifies herself as Kamala Harris, a woman whose pronouns are she and her, and then proceeds to tell you the color and manner of clothing she’s wearing even though you are looking directly at her. Finally she says she is the Democratic candidate for President of the United States.
After that, all bets are off on what this woman will say. You can rest assured that she’ll not have any more original thoughts but will regale you with policies she took from Trump’s campaign, lies about her supposed fiscal achievements, and her masterful control of the southern US border.
Her repeated attempts at sounding like an intelligent, humorous, thought provoking, reasonable, empathetic, sympathetic, knowledgeable person are arguably either pathetic or laughable. Maybe a mixture of the two?
Doesn’t matter. It’s KAMMY’s WORD SALAD TIME!
- When asked if the US would sanction and ban Russian gas and oil imports –
“As you know, on this issue, for example, we applaud Germany in terms of what it has done as it relates to Nord Stream 2. As it relates to what we need to do domestically as well as what we need to do in terms of this issue generally, we have, as the president said, to reevaluate what we’re doing in terms of strategic oil reserves here in the United States to make sure that it will not have an impact, or we can mitigate the impact on the American consumer. Understanding that right now on the issue of energy, our allies have stood firm and unified in a way that many of the pundits didn’t predict would happen, to ensure that we are unified in our approach to this issue.” - After a mass shooting on Independence Day in Chicago she spoke to Chicagoans –
“We’ve got to take this stuff seriously, as seriously as you are because you have been forced to take this seriously. The whole nation should understand and have a level of empathy to understand that this could happen anywhere [to] any people in any community. And we should stand together and speak out about why it’s got to stop.” - When asked her thoughts on Roe vs Wade being overturned –
“I think that, to be very honest with you, I do believe that we should have rightly believed, but we certainly believe that certain issues are just settled. Certain issues are just settled.” - Harris gave a confounding answer in January when asked by NBC’s Craig Melvin about the administration’s coronavirus mitigation strategy. Does the administration say, ‘You know what, this strategy isn’t working. We’re going to change strategies,’” Melvin said. “Is it time?”
“It’s time for us to do what we have been doing, and that time is every day.” - On the relationship between the United States and Jamaica during the Chinese Wuhan Virus pandemic –
“We also recognize just as it has been in the United States, for Jamaica, one of the issues that has been presented as an issue that is economic in the way of its impact has been the pandemic. So to that end, we are announcing today also that we will assist Jamaica in COVID recovery by assisting in terms of the recovery efforts in Jamaica that have been essential to, I believe, what is necessary to strengthen not only the issue of public health but also the economy.” - In South Carolina speaking to the importance of ‘community banks’ –
“We invested an additional $12 billion into community banks, because we know community banks are in the community, and understand the needs and desires of that community as well as the talent and capacity of community.”
- Harris loves yellow school buses, oh yeah –
“Who doesn’t love a yellow school bus, right? Can you raise your hand if you love a yellow school bus? Many of us went to school on the yellow school bus, right? It’s part of our experience growing up. It’s part of a nostalgia, a memory of the excitement and joy of going to school to be with your favorite teacher, to be with your best friends and to learn. The school bus takes us there.” - In 2024 an ever clueless Harris was caught on camera smiling and clapping along with a man singing in Spanish in Puerto Rico in 2024. She was in the Goyoco community center the the man (a protester) broke into song. Harris smiled widely and clapped along with him while he sang “We want to know, Kamala, what did you come here for? We want to know, the vice president is here making history. We want to know what she thinks of the colony. Long live Free Palestine and Haiti, too”.
- Speaking to college students and trying to explain why investing in them is a good thing for America –
“I don’t know what’s wrong with you young people, you think you just fell out of a coconut tree, (Harris breaks into a wild cackle here). You exist in the context of all in which you live and what you came before you.” - Speaking to a gathering, Harris was triggered by something and she had to go off about one of her favorite things ever –
“I love Venn diagrams. I really do, I love Venn diagrams. It’s just something about those three circles and the analysis about where there is the intersection, right?” - While in the state of Louisiana Harris was giving a speech and decided to impart her wisdom to the crowd (if that’s what you call 120 people) about the importance of… well read on –
“The significance of the passage of time, right? The significance of the passage of time. So when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time … and there’s such great significance to the passage of time…”
- Speaking about the importance of the NATO Alliance defending member countries, asking for support for Ukraine, who is NOT a NATO Alliance member –
“I am here, standing here on the northern flank, on the eastern flank, talking about what we have in terms of the eastern flank and our NATO allies, and what is at stake at this very moment. What is at stake this very moment are some of the guiding principles around the NATO alliance.” - Taking a line from Karl Marx’s “The Communist Manifesto” and for months using it as her ‘tagline’ –
“We have the ability to see what can be, unburdened by what has been, and then to make the possible actually happen”. - On American Democracy, ignoring the fact that America is a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy –
“Our election is about understanding the importance of this beautiful country of ours in terms of what we stand for around the globe as a democracy. As a democracy, we know there’s a duality to the nature of democracy. On the one hand, incredible strength when it is intact. What it does for its people to protect and defend their rights. Incredibly strong. And incredibly fragile.”
It is scary that this person is a heartbeat away from the Presidency, let alone actually being the President. God, Aliens, whatever, whomever, please help us!
