Just when we thought that surely Presidential candidate Kamala Harris could not possibly come up with another world-class word salad to rival her others, she has outdone herself.
Harris was asked by Stephanie Ruhle how she would increase affordable housing, one of her campaign promises. Harris, who was not speaking in one of her many foreign or local American accents, answered Ruhle with:
“Looking holistically at the connection between that and housing and looking holistically at the incentives we in the federal government can create for local and state governments to actually engage in planning in a holistic manner that includes prioritizing affordable housing,”
For those that don’t know the definition of “holism” is incorporating the concept of holism, or the idea that the whole is more than merely the sum of its parts, in theory or practice.
