He was never questioned by the Secret Service or prosecuted for this, though he should have been.
Naturally, the Left bristles and stands up for him and says that Rick Wilson didn’t say “they’re still gonna have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump”, or that that isn’t what Rick Wilson meant when he said “they’re still going to have to to out and put a bullet in Donald Trump” or that Rick Wilson’s words “they’re still gonna have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump” are being taken out of context.

But many of the Comrades on the Left, including Matthew Crooks and Ryan Routh have taken these words to heart and were on “missions” to kill President Trump, and they believe that the DOJ will protect them from prosecution as they facilitated/enabled them in their assassination attempt(s).
The Mainstream Media plays a huge part in this with their constant drumbeat of Trump is Hitler. Trump wants to kill us all. Trump is a dictator. Trump is an existential threat. Trump needs to be dealt with. Trump needs to be removed. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah…. It never ends.
For over 9 solid years it’s been nothing from the media except hate for Trump, and calls for him to imprisoned, killed, removed, replaced, dealt with, erased, eradicated, etc.
