When you are a world leader, or Secretary of State, or just a well placed American Socialist politician, it is expected that will meet with other world leaders and politicians as a matter of practice. You shake their hands, make nice chit-chat for the cameras, and smile.
It’s all Kabuki theater though as the media portrays any Democrat/Socialist taking photos with other leaders as being a holier than thou moment, but when it was Trump? He was a treasonous traitor of the worst kind.
